Resin on Canvas -- Tips

Fixing the Epoxy Resin Sagging Canvas: How to do some pre-work and fix that sagging canvas problem. With out using foam cutouts. Resin can get heavy and cause the canvas to pool in the middle. Check out this video for how to avoid that problem.

I use Famowood Resin https://amzn.to/2OFtxm8

Include Frog Tape --I could not find a good deal on Amazon I would recommend walmart or your local handyman shop. I would also recommend a torch or butane lighter get what you are comfortable with.

1. Silicone mix Set

2. Gloves Latex-Free Clear Vinyl Gloves

3. DECO Color Oil based Paint Pen

If you want to get into Coasters or Geodes This metallic pen is the best!

4. Silicone Coaster Molds /Mat

5.Acrylic Crystals -for Geodes

There are enough so you don;t have to skimp on the amount you use.

 resin gem art bling

7. Acrylic Paint

Any should work.  Just be careful to not put too much in the resin.  Resin will react to the acrylic and you will get hardening and bubbles. Think about 7% acrylic to resin.

 8. Heat Gun with temp settings and nozzles

All of these products are great but you can use things in nature as additives such as this beautiful Stone Lake table.

When you get going and want to get into more professional products --high glam really recommend wynnmodernart.com products --tested and totally approve!

Epoxy Used: Famowood **Please be careful and read all epoxy directions. There have been stories where people are allergic and didn't know it. I mix my epoxy outside. The 2 chemicals are reacting to each other in the mixing so be careful.
